Distracted Driving Accidents in Kansas
Using the phone on the road is incredibly dangerous, but more and more people openly admit to engaging in this reckless behavior. In Kansas and across the country, distracted driving is becoming a bigger reason why people die in car crashes. You could walk the length of a football field in the time it takes to send a single text message at highway speeds. That’s more than enough time to cause a crash that changes your life. Distracted driving includes things like texting, talking to a passenger, and messing with the GPS. All of these things can take your attention away from the road and make the chance of a traffic accident much higher. You are more likely to crash if you take your eyes off the road. After a bad accident, it might be hard to get better by yourself.
