Semi-Truck Accidents in Kansas
On Kansas’s roads, you can often see big commercial vehicles. Every year, more than 500,000 large truck accidents happen on American roads, killing over 5,000 people and seriously hurting many more. Huge rigs can weigh up to 70,000 pounds when they’re fully loaded, and semi-trucks pose a risk when they crash into smaller passenger cars. The data shows that most trucking crashes involve personal vehicles, meaning that there is a great risk of serious injury. Truck drivers often make bad decisions that lead to terrible accidents because they are under a lot of stress from having to work long hours on the road. This makes it much more likely that there will be a major accident.
