U-Turn Crashes in Kansas
Drivers can engage in reckless actions behind the wheel that put others in danger. Sometimes, drivers will make potentially dangerous maneuvers like U-turns on the road. This is perfectly safe when there is a designated lane, but it can be dangerous in other cases. These are known as illegal U-turns and can cause serious injuries in the event of a crash. Recent numbers show that intersections are the scene of about a quarter of all traffic deaths in the United States. Many of these deaths are caused by illegal U-turns. Trying to make one at any of these maneuvers at a crossroads greatly raises the risk of an accident.
