18-Wheeler Crashes in Kansas
Sharing the road with an 18-wheeler can be an anxiety-inducing experience. It is common to see a big rig on Kansas roads. The state lies in a key central location within the country, meaning that it plays an important role in the national transportation network. Large trucks are involved in more than 500,000 collisions each year on American roads, resulting in 5,000 deaths and many more injuries. A fully loaded truck can weigh upwards from 70,000 pounds, and that means those traveling in smaller passenger cars are at much greater risk of being seriously hurt in the event of a crash. Unfortunately, statistics show that the majority of trucking accidents involve personal vehicles. You may be able to pursue a full recovery by working with a competent legal team in order to seek lost compensation for your injuries and other damages after a crash.
