Topeka, KS (May 21, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries after an auto accident in the Topeka area on Monday, May 20. The crash was reported at the corner of SE 10th Avenue and Quincy Street early that morning around 8:30 a.m. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to render aid to the involved parties.
At least one person was hurt in the crash, but the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. The injured parties were treated at the scene by attending medical personnel before being transferred by ambulance to a local hospital for additional support. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. Tow trucks were needed to clear the resulting wreckage and other debris in order to reopen the roadway to outside traffic.
