Township 2, KS (May 26, 2024) – Three people were killed and five others injured after a head-on collision in Township 2 in Morris County on Saturday, May 25. The deadly accident was reported at the intersection of P Avenue and Kelso Road that afternoon around 4 p.m. A vehicle with two occupants and another car with five passengers reportedly collided at the scene.
Both occupants of the first car were transported to Morris County Hospital in serious condition. Three people in the other vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene, and the remaining two passengers were transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched, and the area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. The circumstances leading to the accident have not yet been determined. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal crash is being handled by local law enforcement officials, and more updates will be made public as it continues.
