Udall, KS (September 3, 2024) – A motorcyclist was hurt following a collision in the Udall area on Monday, September 2. The accident was reported on K-15 near mile marker 50 that afternoon around 2 p.m. It was reported that a 2023 Triumph motorcycle and a 2019 Indian motorcycle were traveling west on the highway when a white pickup truck traveling eastbound entered westbound traffic.
The rider of the Indian motorcycle, 34-year-old Timothy D. Green of Fort Irwin, CA, tried to make an evasive maneuver in order to avoid being hit by the oncoming truck, and the other motorcyclist, 61-year-old Dareyl W. Stark of Wichita, did the same. Stark’s bike hit the rear tire of Green’s motorcycle before he laid down his bike. Green was able to remain on the motorcycle and came to a stop in a south ditch. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene. Stark was transported to Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center for the treatment of sustained injuries. No further information has been provided. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is in progress.
Our thoughts are with the injured victim and their family at this time. We hope for a full recovery.
