Wichita, KS (September 13, 2024) – On Wednesday, September 11, there were fatal injuries after a bicycle accident in the Wichita area. The deadly crash took place at the intersection of S. Seneca Street and W. 47th Street S. late that night around 8:40 p.m. Local reports revealed that a man was riding a bicycle when he was hit by a silver pickup truck.
The driver of the pickup continued driving and fled the scene without rendering aid to the injured cyclist. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. Despite life-saving measures from attending medical personnel, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim has not been made public at this time.
