Motorcycle Collisions in Kansas
Motorcycling is a recreational activity that has been around for a long time in Kansas, and even the most experienced riders are aware of the high danger of being involved in an accident. Motorcycle riders are engaged in a disproportionately high number of road accidents that result in fatalities throughout the country.
An individual who is riding a motorcycle is roughly 28 times more likely to die in an accident and is four times more likely to have a serious injury than a person who is riding in a typical passenger vehicle with much greater protection and safety features offered. In fact, it is estimated that motorcycles are responsible for around 14% of all fatalities that occur in traffic accidents, even though they make up less than three percent of all registered autos in the nation.
Of course, recovering from severe injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident or losing a loved one in such an accident can be challenging, devastating, and frustrating in the long term.
