Wichita, KS (February 24, 2025) – On Monday morning, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on westbound K96 at mile marker 290.8, just east of I-135. The accident, which was reported at 7:56 a.m., involved five vehicles and resulted in at least one injury. Traffic had begun slowing due to congestion when a 2016 Infiniti QX80 failed to stop in time, causing a chain reaction that impacted four additional vehicles. One driver, identified as 40-year-old Mirella Boldoni of Wichita, was transported to Wesley Medical Center with suspected minor injuries.
